Maximising Collaboration and Accelerating Impact During Horizon Europe

Crowdhelix is an Open Innovation platform that forges links between an international network of excellent researchers and innovating companies, so that they can plan and deliver pioneering collaborative projects

Abstract

In this session we will explore ways in which the Crowdhelix Network and online platform can play a key role in building a robust and diverse consortium of trusted academic and industrial partners. We will look at how community-building and open collaboration contribute to excellent proposals and funded projects, and we will look at how the Crowdhelix Impact Acceleration-focused ‘Helix Model’ has been successfully implemented in a growing number of EU-funded projects. Founded in 2012, based in the UK and Ireland, and with support from a host of leading academic institutions around Europe, Crowdhelix is now a thriving network and vibrant platform supporting over 550 member organisations from 50 countries. Crowdhelix’s main focus is building collaborative partnerships within thematic communities hosted on its virtual platform called ‘Helixes’. Crowdhelix currently hosts 40 unique Helix communities populated with excellent institutions, businesses and experts from Europe and beyond. It is within these communities that individuals and organisations profile themselves, their expertise and how they can participate in and contribute to pioneering collaborative projects funded by the European Union. Crowdhelix is also a virtual space for impact acceleration. Having been awarded a cross-section of Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects in the past 3 years, Crowdhelix’s project-specific Helix communities act as a venue for stakeholder engagement, IP generation, innovation acceleration and facilitating future collaborative partnerships in a project’s thematic area of focus. We’d be delighted if you would join us for this session to learn more about ways in which your organisation stands to benefit from participation in Crowdhelix.
