EARMA Conference Prague call for abstracts open until September 16

The call for abstracts for the next EARMA Conference opened August 18, 2022, and will close September 16, 2022. The theme of the EARMA Conference is "Widening and Deepening of the RMA Profession" and it will take place in Prague, Czechia, April 24-26, 2023. We are encouraging all of our community to submit your abstracts before the deadline and we look forward to seeing you in Prague. Make your submission now

Launch of the RM ROADMAP project in Belgrade

EARMA and partners will launch the RM ROADMAP project in Belgrade, Serbia, September 8, 2022. EARMA is delivering this important project to support the strengthening of an inclusive research management community in Europe. We're moving to the new EARMA Community Platform

EARMA is transitioning to a new IT system and we are asking you to setup your profile in our new Community Platform. This new system will allow you to connect with colleagues, share best practice and engage with EARMA events all in one place.

Step 1) Click here to set up your account and follow the link to the welcome page.

Step 2) Select 'Existing EARMA member logging for the first time'.

Step 3) Go into the 'Edit Profile' area on the top right side of the webpage and ensure that your profile contains the essential information. Please complete all mandatory fields and include your country, address and VAT number where relevant.

Step 4) Scroll to the bottom of the 'Edit Profile' area and update your email preferences.

Please note that without this essential information, you will not be able to participate in EARMA conferences, events or activities. You may also experience errors during registration processes until you update or complete your profile.

We look forward to seeing you on the EARMA Community Platform and we hope to see you in-person very soon.

EARMA Annual Conference 2023 – Call for Volunteer Expert Evaluators

The 2023 EARMA Annual Conference Programme Committee (ACPC) is looking for dedicated volunteers to help us shape the content of the programme for the 2023 conference to be held in Prague in April 2023.  As always, the conference will be structured in ‘topics’ and we are looking for people with expertise in one or more of these strands to support us evaluating and ranking the submitted abstracts. We are very pleased to announce that a new Core Group has been formed for the EARMA Ethics and Research Integrity Officer Network. You can find out who the members are here. The next meeting will take place November 17, 2022, in-person in Brussels. The topic of the event will be "Research Integrity Promotion Plans: From creation to implementation" and registration will open soon. We hope to see you there!

The EARMA Campfire Events are a very informal way to gather the EARMA community together online to network and have fun. What could be a better way to celebrate together? The celebrations of the International Research Administrators' Day have increased in visibility globally, and this year's event, is the second EARMA Campfire Event held in recognition of the International Research Administrators Day (actual date of RMA Day: September 25, 2022, but that's a Sunday). Come and join us for as long or short as you can during Friday, September 23, 2022, 14:00 - 15:00 CEST, and let's have a good time together. Change Management (CM) is an application of a structured process and set of tools for leading the people side of change to achieve a desired outcome. This event is for those interested in post-award and especially who are actively involved in the project management process. Although mastering CM will probably need additional training, it is still expected that attendees will be able to embrace something for their day-to-day activities.
