EARMA's Chair presents the RM FRAMEWORK project on Research Professional News
Research Professional News by Clarivate published an article by EARMA's Chair Dipti Pandya about the EU-funded RM FRAMEWORK project. Research management in Europe needs an open and sustainable system for professional development and the RM FRAMEWORK project is a response to this challenge. It will build towards a European-wide qualification system that provides flexible, comprehensive training for research managers. Starting in February, the project builds on the previous EU-funded RM ROADMAP project. More

The pilot programme ends and the Mentorship Scheme 2025 begins
The Mentorship Scheme pilot programme is coming to an end. In January, mentors and mentees are having a final group meeting, and throughout February the last one-on-one meetings will take place. Everyone will receive a certification of participation in this successful programme. But while the pilot programme ends, the EARMA Mentorship Scheme 2025 begins! The in-person kick-off event on February 5, 2025, will provide participants with an opportunity to learn about the structure and expectations of the scheme, get acquainted with essential documents and processes, and receive guidance on professional mentoring for both mentors and mentees.
ECDI Thematic Group introduces Happy Talks
A flagship initiative, Happy Talks, offers quarterly online sessions featuring short presentations and interactive discussions. Each session aims to provide a supportive space for reflection and community building. Through this initiative, the ECDI group is driving lasting change toward a more equitable, diverse, and resilient RMA profession. Recognising Excellence in RMA: EARMA Annual Awards 2024/25

EARMA Travel Grant: Support for Your Professional Development
EARMA members are eligible to apply for a €500 grant to assist with travel expenses related to professional development visits or participation in conferences/events organised by RMA bodies recognised by INORMS and EARMA. Examples include ARMA-UK, SARIMA, and NCURA. Applicants must be EARMA members in good standing, and the proposed activity should contribute to their professional development.
