EARMA Odense conference 2024: Your guide to the 1st Conference Day 24 April 2024

On 24 April 2024 at 9:00, the 2024 EARMA conference officially kicks off with an opening ceremony and keynote discussion at the Odense Congress Center (OCC). Sessions continue until 6 pm. In the evening, we have our first ever completely vegan, local, limited-food-waste gala dinner. Our chef will come to explain it all to us! We will also have the conference awards ceremony during the dinner and those who wish to can finish the evening dancing until late.

🎟️ Registration
How and when can I pick up my badge? 
At Odense Congress Center from 8:00. Please make sure to have your conference ticket, which you received via mail "noreply@brella.io", ready to scan.

 

👀 Interesting things to do around the conference center: 

  1. Games: Take a few minutes to refresh your senses on our blue carpet stations.

  1. Photobooth: Make memories at the Elsevier photobooth in the exhibition hall at stand number 5.

  1. Posters: Visit the Poster room and vote for your favourite poster presenter. The poster presentation is set during the lunch break from 13:00 -13:30. You can vote by Thursday, 25 April 2024, 14:30 CEST. The poster with the most votes will win the Poster Prize and be announced at the Closing Ceremony on Thursday, 25th April 2024, at 17:00 CEST in the Ballerina room.

  1. Escape hunts: Meet Philip at the lounge area in the middle of the exhibition hall and get introduced to our three exciting escape hunts.

  1. Ethics Clinic: If you have any questions for Dr Dorian Karatzas, the Head of the European Commission's Ethics and Research Integrity,- feel free to meet him in our tiny house in the exhibition hall from 11:00 - 12:00 & 16:00 - 17:00.

  1. 1-on-1 meetings: Benefit from the Brella - conference matchmaking app and book your own 1:1 meetings.

  2. Partner game: Get your free conference ticket for 2025 by meeting our partners and diving into the fairytale world of Hans Christian Andersen to win the partner game.

  4. Each conference session has been "tagged." You can use the filtering options, and create your own personalised programme in the Brella app or the Brella web version. To do so, simply go to the top right corner and select your preferred tags. Note: The abstracts with the highest score have the specific tag "FLAGSHIP".

Please make sure to be on time and take your badge with you. Please note that only delegates who chose that they are attending their dinner when registering can attend the dinner. If you missed that step in your registration, it is unfortunately not possible to attend as dinners are counted to prevent food waste. Further, entrance is strictly only possible with your badge. Shuttle busses will be driving from the EARMA Bus stop to the congress center and back. Please see the bus schedule above.
 


 

@Speakers: 

Please visit the "Presentation Upload Room" to ensure your slides were received correctly. This room will be open for all Conference Speakers from 8:00 on Wednesday until 16:00 on Thursday. We want to clarify that it is the speaker's responsibility to ensure that the presentation is uploaded correctly.

If you are chairing a conference session, please review the conference program and filter your name under the "speaker" option to see your schedule throughout the conference days. 
The briefing meeting is scheduled from 8:30-8:45 on Wednesday, 24th April, OCC – at the Group Space Room (1st floor). For more details please refer to this document.

Dear Poster Presenters, please do not forget to be at your poster during the lunch break (13:00 -14:30) to present your posters.
