Abstract
Open Research Europe is a new publishing platform launched in March 2021 by the European Commission and F1000 to provide beneficiaries with an easy, high-quality venue to publish all Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe-funded research at no cost and in full compliance with the Commission’s open access policies. Just over one year since the launch, how far have we come in serving this community and finding that balance between speed and quality in the publication process?
This presentation will give an overview of the post-publication peer review publishing model employed on Open Research Europe and highlight the way the platform has diversified to meet the needs of the different types of research that is funded by Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, ranging from history and archeology to developmental biology and everything in between.
