EARMA is leading a consortium to address the following call:

HORIZON-WIDERA-2024-ERA-01-03: Support for the professionalisation of research management

We currently have a small core consortium and are looking for additional partners.

We have received a big number of informal requests and e-mails and expect to potentially receive a big amount to this call for collaborators. Therefore, we will likely not be able to give individual answers or feedback to all applications but will send out a general feedback e-mail.

Project

Within the topic description’s scope, we are looking to set up the next level of training and professionalisation for research management. This will include training (and education) at the European level but also in synergy with the national or local level. Therefore, those organisations having knowledge of local/national training and European level training are both relevant. The consortium already has a lot of experience in European level training so national/local experience is likely to be more interesting in addition to experience with training (collaboration) across multiple countries.

Profile requested (does not necessarily need to tick all boxes):

• Knowledge of setting up new certification and accreditation
• Knowledge and experience of micro-credentials
• Have RM as part of the organisational strategy and/or policy
• Have strong support from the leadership of the organisation and/or active involvement of the leadership (well beyond the signing of a letter of support)
• Have expertise in discussing RM policy and funding with the different relevant actors of the (national) R&I system
• Experience with RM training or coordinating, connecting, incentivising, funding or creating of RM training.
   

Type of organisation

All types of organisations are welcomed and especially:

• University alliances
• RFO’s
• Ministries/governmental agencies
• Accreditation bodies
• Single RPOs (including RTOs) may apply but should have strong support from leadership
• NCPs
• Others

Where alliances or networks of organisations are involved, it is fully acceptable and valid to have one of the legal entities represent the alliance or network. The focus is on the ability to carry out the work.

We especially welcome applications from organisations in widening countries or networks and alliances with a strong participation of widening countries.

We especially welcome applications from ministries and governmental agencies.
