INORMS 2025 Study Tour: A Perfect Post-Congress Journey Through Spanish Research Excellence

The INORMS 2025 Post-Congress Study Tour, organised by EARMA, is currently bringing research managers and administrators from around the world on an unforgettable journey across Spain. Running from 8–15 May, the tour visits Madrid, Granada, and Barcelona, offering exclusive access to some of the country’s most innovative research environments.

This year's tour is centred around the theme “Sustainability and the Future of Research Management”, providing participants with the opportunity to exchange ideas, build new collaborations, and witness best practices in action. With research managers from across the globe joining, the experience reinforces INORMS 2025’s spirit of global community, knowledge exchange, and shared ambition.

Stops on the tour include the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), University of Granada, Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB), and many others. Each visit is designed to spark dialogue on how research institutions are tackling global challenges — from climate and health to digital transformation — and how RMAs can help drive these missions forward.

Beyond the institutional visits, the tour also highlights Spain’s rich cultural heritage, with participants enjoying local cuisine, historic landmarks, and informal networking in beautiful surroundings. It’s not just about professional insights — it’s about meaningful connections, reflection, and inspiration after an action-packed Congress week.

As the tour continues, it stands as the perfect conclusion to the INORMS Congress 2025: a celebration of collaboration, a showcase of excellence, and a reminder of the vital role RMAs play in shaping the future of research.
