About the event: With international competition on the rise, the size, scope, and pace of research is intensifying. Researchers must innovate on the edge of discovery to secure funding and gain recognition amongst their peers and broader community. Although we can’t predict the future, researchers can make strategic decisions with foresight that is grounded in data. 

This webinar introduces new tools and methods for discovering research areas emerging on the horizon. With a trusted methodology and assistance of generative AI, research strategists will discover new topics emerging from published literature that point to where future breakthroughs are likely to occur. Learn how to interpret the data and use visualisations and interdisciplinary metrics to guide decisions.

Sara Branch, Product Manager, Research Funding & Analytics, Clarivate 

Sara Branch, PhD., is a product manager with Clarivate. She has worked exclusively with academic and government partners for five years to bring them solutions that showcase their scholarly expertise and research. Prior to joining Clarivate, Sara was an assistant professor of psychology after completing her doctoral degree at Purdue University. As an academic researcher, Sara studied social and personality psychology and collaborated with scholars in the fields of communication and engineering education. She has published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals and presented her work at national and international academic conferences.   


Valentin Bogorov
Valentin Bogorov, Customer Success Consultant, Clarivate

Valentin Bogorov is a strategic customer success consultant at Clarivate. He has over eleven years of experience advising libraries, universities, research organisations, and government agencies on bibliometric analysis and data-driven decisions to promote research excellence, innovation, and impact. Valentin is based in the UK and has worked with Clarivate customers and partners in over a dozen of countries. Prior to joining Clarivate he held a number of positions in public policy and administration consulting, working with major international organisations, including the World Bank, the European Commission, and the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development. He did his graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and taught at Concordia University, St. Paul. Valentin is passionate about empowering scientists, research administrators, and librarians to navigate and thrive in the evolving global landscape of research and innovation.
