Keynote panel discussion about the future of research management in Europe. The European council recognized the need for professionalisation of research management in 2020 and the EC is rolling out policy about research management as part of the ERA action 17. Action 17 is supported by 15 member states and will be underpinned by the RM Roadmap and CARDEA Horizon Europe projects. EARMA is the coordinator of RM Roadmap. The panelists will describe their position of the role and importance of research management in the R&I system going forward followed by a panel discussion.
