Eddie Neuwirth is Sr. Director of Product Management for Research Funding and Assessment at Clarivate and is responsible for the Pivot-RP funding solution and InCites Benchmarking & Analytics. He has nearly 20 years of experience across Clarivate, ProQuest and Ex Libris designing, developing and supporting innovative SaaS discovery and workflow solutions that are used by the world’s leading libraries and research institutions. As a product manager, he focuses on delivering market-leading solutions to help research offices and libraries improve and automate research workflows, scale their reach, deliver efficient services, measure impact, and accelerate innovation.
Ayman Akil - Senior Manager Consulting, Clarivate
Dr. Akil has more than 12 years of experience in academia, corporate R&D industries and cross-collaborations. He has specialized in strategic planning for research enterprises, including the analyses associated with university rankings. His consulting projects aim at designing and implementing strategies for various research entities to optimize their activities and processes as well as enhance their performance assessment models. Dr. Akil has implemented several national capacity building activities for upskilling researchers, academics and decision-makers through targeted workshops and academies. Prior to joining Clarivate, Dr. Akil was a researcher at the Max-Planck Institute for Quantum Optics in Germany.
