Location: Club D [70🪑]

Workshop content:

 •  Consortium Preparation- how to choose partners and experts based on creating a product and/or building a company

 •  Proposal Preparation- using basic due diligence procedures and market research to increase impact and reduce risk

 •  Macro Market Analysis- This is essentially what most people know as market research. “The market is $X and growing at Y%”. This section covers the pros and cons of relying on this research and gives an introduction on what it should cover

• Application Analysis- This section combines macro market research into the specifics of the IP, such as supply chains, manufacturing fit, technical specifications, regulations, etc. Most importantly how to conduct primary market research to create an analysis specific to the IP

• Market Strategy- this section is how to put everything together so that there will be a rational strategy with options. This includes what is needed by each path (further grant funding, partnering, licensing the IP, seeking venture capital, or creating a start-up). This section would be commonly referred to as the ‘business plan’.
