In 2025, the European Association of Research Managers and Administrators (EARMA) will host the International Network of Research Management Societies (INORMS) Congress. This prestigious event will be held at the IFEMA Palacio Municipal in Madrid, Spain, from May 6 - 8.

This is the first time that EARMA has hosted the INORMS Congress and we invite research management professionals from around the globe to contribute their insights and best practices for our greatest gathering yet. This is an unparalleled opportunity to influence the future of research management and administration. Please note that the INORMS Congress 2025 will replace the EARMA Conference in 2025, which will resume in 2026.

Post-Congress Study Tour
In conjunction with the INORMS Congress Madrid 2025 on May 6 - 8, 2025, EARMA has arranged a post-congress study tour to outstanding research institutions of Spain. Participants of the INORMS Congress are invited to join the study tour for a unique opportunity to meet and share knowledge between international and Spanish colleagues in Madrid, Barcelona and Granada. The theme of the tour is The future of the RMA profession: how to overcome barriers and face challenges while embracing global change and sustainability. The purpose will be to meet, through partnering events and site visits, with RMA communities from different Spanish universities, research performing organisations (RPOs) and relevant stakeholders to discuss the future of the RMA profession, get a better understanding of the RMA context in a southern European country and plan joint ventures among participants.
