Join us for a groundbreaking one-day workshop focused on how research managers can effectively adapt to Europe’s evolving equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) policies. This event will be the inaugural gathering to launch the exciting work of the newly established EARMA Thematic Group on equality, culture, diversity, and inclusion (ECDI) and is designed for research professionals who want to enhance their understanding of EDI legislation and implement practical strategies within their organisations.
As the European Union's policies on equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) continue to evolve, research managers (RMs) face new challenges and opportunities. This event will bring together experts to discuss how RMs can navigate these changes, ensuring compliance while fostering a more inclusive research environment.
As research landscapes worldwide increasingly emphasise the importance of EDI, it is crucial for research managers to be well-informed and proactive in aligning their practices with these policies. This workshop will provide valuable insights, real-world examples, and actionable strategies to foster an inclusive and equitable research environment.
This event is ideal for research managers, institutional leaders, academic staff, policy makers, and anyone involved in research management seeking to deepen their knowledge of EDI policies and improve their organisational practices.
