Abstract

The use of lump sum funding has been rolled out in a significant number of Horizon Europe calls for the 2023-2024 work programme.

Whereas this relatively new funding type simplifies project implementation by making actual cost reporting redundant, it does require a change of mindset, as well as adjusted procedures. In this session, we'll discuss practical approaches regarding lump sum funding, including considerations and guidance advanced specifically for RMAs and researchers. In addition, we'll share experience with lump sum projects in both proposal and implementation phase.
