Abstract
Working in research development and support for applications to US funding agencies (Federal and Philanthropic) means learning new terminology, navigating different processes and application portals. as well as keeping on top of institutional compliance. This session will provide an overview of some of the misunderstandings we had when we first started in US funding and how we improved our work practices. Take away messages include
