This 15-minute round table session will delve into the ethical implications of using Gen AI tools in crafting research proposals. The moderator (Rita) will provide a 3-minute introduction, highlighting key issues such as transparency, accountability, and potential biases. This brief overview will catalyse an engaging dialogue between the audience and two main speakers (Igor and Clara), examining the fine line between AI assistance and AI-generated content, and discussing the ethical responsibilities of researchers and research managers when using Gen AI tools.
