RMAs: Catalyzing Global Impact
Catalyzing global impact - Role of RMAs in establishing international collaborations and transforming research landscapes
Abstract
International collaboration in research is a well-established practice that enhances the globalization of research efforts. Similarly, international cooperation should become a standard in Research Management and Administration (RMA) to accelerate scientific advancements and improve efficiency.
The Champalimaud Foundation (CF) is a non-profit institution based in Portugal that integrates research and clinical operations, with the goal of developing cutting-edge research alongside outstanding patient care. The CF’s Strategic Research Development Team is pivotal in fundraising for research, innovation, and technology development. The team is highly commited to foster global partnerships among researchers and RMA peers worldwide. It is part of international RMA associations´ committees and has successfully promoted international collaborations, engaging researchers across Australia, Canada, US, UK, Turkey, and more, resulting in substantial competitive funding and successful projects. These efforts illustrate the transformative power of global teamwork in advancing research and securing funding.
Our journey underscores the power of global teamwork in transforming research landscapes and securing crucial research funding. Join us as we explore how these strategic alliances were created and how they are shaping the future of science and innovation, demonstrating that when the world collaborates, extraordinary breakthroughs follow.
