ACPC tips for the EARMA Conference Odense

ACPC tips for the EARMA Conference Odense

The EARMA Conference Odense programme brings diverse presentations to elevate your skills, improve your research management (RM) professional approaches and exchange best practice and case studies.

The conference presentations are structured in 9 content-based topics: Operations and Planning, Open Science, Collaboration and Strategic Alliances, Professional and Career Development, Research Cycle Support Services (Pre-Award), Research Cycle Support Services (Post-Award), Research Cycle Support Services (Transversal), IT Systems, and Leadership. You can select the topic of your interest using the filters/tags in the online programme.

Secondly, pay attention to different presentation formats, 60, 30 and 20-minute oral presentations are selected based on the best-scoring abstracts with the most relevance to the EARMA community.

Pecha Kucha sessions include 4-5 short presentations according to a strict format (i.e. 20 slides per presentation, each slide lasting 20 seconds). This will require your full attention; however, it will bring you the most benefit for time dedicated. The ACPC has tried to combine interesting presentations in each Pecha Kucha session.

We definitely advise spending some time in the poster section - it is a perfect place to rethink your research management practices and discuss and network with your colleagues. In addition, you can take the opportunity to be an active participant and join one of many 15-minute discussion tables, in which 3-4 different topics will be discussed in rotating small groups. Finally, do not miss the Opening Keynote Panel Discussion on AI and RM.

Please plan your favourite sessions well – with more than 80 hours of programme time there is a wealth of opportunities for all conference participants to get enriched.

Have a great EARMA Conference,
